About Bowditch Beach
This serene location, which encompasses the entire end of the island, offers a choice of settings to fulfill your needs. We've been hosting beach weddings at Bowditch Beach, Fort Myers Beach, for over 16 years. It's one of our personal favorite wedding beaches in the tri-county area for many reasons. It's charming atmosphere is inviting and offers many areas for your photos. It's not unusual for a pirate ship to sail by or dolphins around sunset.

DIRECTIONS: From Fort Myers Beach bridge, take a right at the foot of the bridge and
go the end of Estero.
All of our beach wedding packages are perfectly suited for Bowditch State Park! From small and intimate elopements to large and luxurious beach side ceremonies, this venue offers more than any other public beach or resort beach in the area. We just love the fact that it is within walking distance to most hotels and resorts on the northern tip of the island as well as activities to enjoy during your stay. The Town of Ft Myers Beach has a trolley service that has various stops throughout the island so you can park your car and walk or take the trolley to any destination on the island; in fact, the trolley has a stop right at Bowditch State Park.
With it's boardwalk, glowing sunsets, sea oats and rustic walking trails there are many places at this park that you will find the perfect photo opt as you take your wedding photos. You will also find restrooms, handicap access and outside showers here.
On your Wedding day at Bowditch, Park and proceed to the boardwalk. Your wedding staff will meet you at the boardwalk to give instructions if you have coordination in your package. We will set up your wedding decorations to the left or to the right of the boardwalk where it meets the sand.
